This will support the efforts of both the Hawthorne Center and OpenSrcLearn.org. I will be working on that image this week.<br /><br />I am currently doing final configuration and testing of a boot server which will be used at Roosevelt High School in a Linux lab. That should be finished tonight. After that I am in sort of a holding pattern for final approvals from the school before we begin deployment. As such time has freed up.<br /><br />I believe that XFCE is the best choice of window manager for the Linux self contained learning environment (LSCLE). It is small and lightweight and supports 3d. Firefox,Blender,Gimp are available from the Ubuntu repositories. Croquet will require a bit more work to install but not much.<br /><br />I will hopefully have a prototype image built by end of week.
